THUNDER BAY — EcoSuperior has announced a change in its leadership structure and the appointment of two people to manage the operations of the non-profit environmental organization.
They take over from Sue Hamel, who's leaving to pursue a new opportunity in the conservation field after serving as executive director for a little over three years. "We are privileged to take on this new leadership role and model. We feel leadership is stronger in partnerships," Moir said in a statement Tuesday.
Although co-leadership is new to EcoSuperior, it's been used successfully by other non-profit organizations, including 87 public companies recently analyzed by Harvard Business Review.
