Possible seismic events in Sudbury area
Updated Jan. 22 at 3:20 p.m. Earthquakes Canada has confirmed there was an earthquake near Sudbury on Sunday afternoon.
"Given the location it may be related to mining activity, but we do not yet have confirmation," seismologist Allison Bent said in an email to Sudbury.com.If you felt the earthquake, you're encouraged to fill out a report on Earthquakes Canada's website.
