Duterte yet to get his second COVID-19 vaccine dose

It's been five weeks since President Rodrigo Duterte had his first dose. The WHO recommends an interval of three to four weeks between Sinopharm shots.

The World Health Organization recommends that there be an interval of three to four weeks between the two required Sinopharm doses.

The EUA for donated Sinopharm doses was issued to the Department of Health since it was the entity that applied for the authorization., which allows the FDA to issue EUAs for COVID-19 vaccines, states that government entities are allowed to apply for EUAs.
