DAVAO CITY – The first Duterte 2025 Inter-Barangay Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Volleyball and Basketball Tournament was recently held with action-packed matches showcasing exceptional talent, sportsmanship, and unity among athletes.
The Most Valuable Player was Juromar dela Cruz ; Best Setter was Kent William Revamonte ; Best Outside Hitter was: Fev Adrianne Olia ; Best Middle Blocker was Raymond Ramirez ; Best Opposite Spiker was Paul Emmanuel Panal , and Best Libero was Armen Cabanban . The champion bagged P100,000 while second took P50,000, P25,000 third, and P15,000 fourth in the inter-barangay basketball and volleyball tournaments. The rest of the field received P5,000 consolation prize.
The tournament that started last month was the inaugural comprehensive sports event of the first congressional district engaging all 54 barangays and included participants from the two other districts of Davao City.
