MAYNILA - Nakapagpaabot na ng pangunahing tulong ang Department of Social Welfare and Development sa mga lugar na nasalanta ng bagyong Ambo.

Unang nag-landfall ang bagyo sa San Policarpo sa Eastern Samar bago tumama sa Dalupiri Island, Northern Samar; Capul Island, Northern Samar; Ticao Island, Masbate; Burias Island, Masbate; San Andres sa Quezon]; Real sa Quezon. “May stockpiles na mahigit P176 milyon worth of family food packs at non-food items na worth P483 milyon na magagamit sa pagpapahatid ng karagdagang tulong sa mga local government units upang matugunan nila yung pangangailangan po ng kanilang constituents,” saad ni Dumlao.
