MELAKA: Another incident of accidental acceleration emerged in Melaka, in less than 24 hours after a 16-year-old inadvertently reversed a car into an eatery.
The fresh case occurred at 10.40am on Sunday when a 25-year-old driver without a valid driving license accidentally accelerated a sport utility vehicle hitting and injuring a motorcyclist.
He said the motorcyclist was riding on the main road and was rammed by the driver of the SUV before the vehicle came to a halt at the entrance of a business premise along the street.
