KOTA KINABALU: A man sustained minor injuries after his car plunged some 25m into a ravine along the Tenom - Keningau road on Saturday.

The 50-year-old was driving near Kg Lagud when he lost control of his vehicle and drove into the ravine. Sabah Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Hamsa Isnurdini said firemen were called to assist at 9.59am. “The man got out of his car on his own after the accident, and climbed up from the ravine using a special rope provided by firemen,” he said in a statement on Saturday .
