A driver whose ute flipped and ended up on its roof on the other side of the road told police he lost control after spilling his coffee.
Police say after the man lost control, his ute veered onto the wrong side of the road, before it flipped and landed on its roof.“Lucky escape for this driver this morning who spilt his coffee on his lap,” The Hills Police Area Command posted to Facebook. I’m glad they’re alive and not another road statistic,” one person said.“It’s a timely reminder that the simplest things can cause an accident,” a third piped in.
“Driver distraction” is a general road rule in every Australian state which means drivers must have “full control of their vehicle at all times” and not be distracted.
