Driver arrested for impaired driving after collision involving cyclist

THUNDER BAY – A Thunder Bay man is facing impaired driving charges after a collision involving a cyclist on Cumberland Street near the Marina Park Overpass.

Officers located a damaged sedan and the accused male driver at the scene and, according to a TBPS release, “observed several signs” that the driver was impaired by alcohol. The motorist had then driven the cyclist to Adelaide Street, where they were met by paramedics, police said.
