Western Australia will significantly expand the number of unsolved missing and murdered cases where a $1 million reward is on offer for information that results in a conviction, the state government is set to announce.

Today's policy change will also mean cold cases that involve the deaths of two people could now attract some of the highest rewards on record. Cousins Raelene Eaton, left, and Yvonne Waters disappeared outside The White Sands Tavern in Scarborough on April 7, 1974.
