Police were dispatched Sunday night to the 200 block of Bay Street
A 27-year-old was arrested last night for allegedly assaulting and threatening an employee at a downtown business.
Sault police were dispatched at around 6 p.m. to the 200 block of Bay Street, where private security officers had detained the suspect.The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 16, 2023. None of the allegations have been tested in court and Elie is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
