Lifeblood Executive Director of Donor Services Cath Stone says regular blood donors give “above 17 times a year”, and some make it part of their “social” connections.

“Some of our regular donors and many retired actually are donating above 17 times a year,” Ms Stone told Sky News Australia. “They make it part of their social connection, they come in once a fortnight, and they donate plasma, they hang out with their mates, get some great snacks and enjoy an interaction with the team.”
