Former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump has reacted promptly to President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 election, saying his former opponent was "not fit to run".
He continued, "All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn't capable of being President, and he wasn't".Donald Trump reacted to the announcement on his platform Truth Social. "And now, look what he's done to our Country, with millions of people coming across our Border, totally unchecked and unvetted, many from prisons, mental institutions, and record numbers of terrorists."
Earlier on Sunday Biden announced he will drop out of the 2024 presidential race, ahead of the November US election.He immediately announced his support for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Party's nominee.
