Don’t use religion against opponents, says PH candidate Suhaizan

Suhaizan Kayat says no one should arbitrarily declare a political opponent as ‘haram’ as it will have grave consequences on the political system.

JOHOR BAHRU: Pakatan Harapan’s Pulai candidate Suhaizan Kayat has criticised Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhiyiddin Yassin of using religion for political gains by issuing a “fatwa” against him.

Muhyiddin had said at a ceramah for the Pulai by-election that it was a “haram” to vote for the PH candidate.
