Brown Sisters Christmas Concert is Dec. 18, 6:30 p.m., at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall, Holland College, Charlottetown. Proceeds will help fill community fridges on P.E.I. To ensure a seat, reserve tickets through Holland College orin advance for $15 . Otherwise, admission will be first-come-first-seated by cash only at the door with a suggested donation of $10 per person. Doors will open at 6 p.m. There will be an intermission with bar service and snack options for sale.
Barra MacNeils East Coast Christmas will take the stage on Dec. 20, 7:30 p.m., in the Sobey Family Theatre of Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown. Rustico Bay Club New Year’s Dance is Dec. 31, 9 p.m. to 12:15 p.m., with Haché performing songs of various musical genres, with an emphasis on old country, rock ’n’ roll and music of the Maritimes. A delicious lunch will be served at break. There will also be bar service at this 19 and over event. Tickets are $25 each by calling Bernice at 902-621-0199.
