PADANG BESAR, April 9 — The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living seized 26,000 litres of subsidised diesel worth RM55,900 through an Ops Tiris raid it conducted on a wholesaler’s premises here at 1pm yesterday.

“When the inspection was carried out at the premises...it was found that the wholesaler failed to maintain the stock book of controlled goods and the supply obtained was doubtful. Farah Adlina said licenced wholesalers dealing in controlled goods must maintain a stock book and failure to do so may subject them to action under Rule 13 of the Control of Supplies Regulations 1974 and Rule 11 for dubious supplies.
