Clayton Kershaw is making his season debut with the Dodgers 👀

The Los Angeles Dodgers today activated LHP Clayton Kershaw from the 10-day injured list and optioned right-hander Jaime Schultz to Triple-A Oklahoma City.Kershaw, has been out with left shoulder inflammation that he’s been experiencing since the start of Spring Training. He will make his season debut tonight at home against the Cincinnati Reds.

The 31-year-old signed a three-year, $93 million contract extension with the Dodgers and last pitched in Game 5 of the World Series against the Boston Red Sox. In 10 seasons, the lefty has a career 2.39 ERA. Tonight’s game will be special for reasons beyond Kershaw’s debut, as the Dodgers will be celebrating the 72nd anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s first game with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
