As for mosquitoes, some of the wildlife lured by your water will help keep numbers down, while for small vessels, change the water at least once a week to stop insects from breeding.Credit:Dark, narrow side paths are the first thing that springs to mind here, but gardens contain all sorts of against-the-odds spots that are shady, cramped or full of tree roots.
