And yet last week, when we went to Abby’s Wine Bar, the much more casual, little-sister business of Harmons, we spent no more on any dish than a tenth of the cost of that millionaire’s steak. Abby’s, which opened last November and previously was the overflow space of Harmons before its winterized terrace opened, is a simple, dimly lit space that holds about 40 people at cozy tables, stand-up tables and a side-wall bar. Robert Gravelle, a co-owner of Abby’s and Harmons, says Abby’s uses a Coravin wine preservation system to ensure the wines don’t lose their freshness once they’ve been opened.
