However, she emphasized the supportive network she had during that time. Diana's late first husband, Alex Lopez , found it harder to accept the situation.
While she acknowledged his pain and their shared struggle, she explained that ultimately, they both needed to support each other, though Alex initially struggled. Diana shared that the situation led to marital problems and contributed to their separation. She felt the need to protect her child and prioritize his well-being, which led to a strained relationship with Alex. Despite the challenges, Diana was able to forgive Alex, and he eventually got to see King again before his passing in 2010. King first inquired about his condition when they were in Australia, having witnessed a classmate being bullied. Diana apologized for the hardships King faced, but he reassured her that explanations were unnecessary. Diana expressed gratitude for being in Australia, where King received specialized medical care for his condition. She highlighted the numerous surgeries King underwent from a young age, emphasizing the ongoing support he requires. Diana is now married to Andy Smith and has two daughters, Aliyah and Mimi. She currently stars in the GMA Prime series 'Mga Batang Riles,' which airs weekdays at 8:50 p.m.
