at a rural property is set to be the biggest service the state has ever seen.
Constables Matthew Arnold and Rachel McCrow were killed in the line of duty at Wieambilla in Queensland. The ceremony will be livestreamed on Channel 9 for viewers in Queensland and 9news.com.au for viewers around the country. "Our aim is to make sure we honour our fallen officers with a highly dignified and fitting memorial," McDonald said.
McDonald said, in his memory, there hasn't been a memorial service to this scale in Queensland and will be similar to the size of state funerals held in other states."We know there is a lot of community interest and a lot of Queenslanders who want to share this memorial with us and the families of the fallen officers," McDonald said.
