Desiree del Valle expressed her admiration for Miguel Tanfelix and Kokoy De Santos , her co-stars in the upcoming GMA Prime series ' Mga Batang Riles .' On Tuesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' the actress discussed her return to GMA Network for the series and what it's like working with a new cast, particularly Miguel and Kokoy.
She said, 'These boys, I actually was able to have the opportunity to get to know them during workshop with Direk Laurice Guillen and I know that they're very hungry and they really wanna do good.' Desiree believes the young Sparkle stars are inspiring her to perform better as a villain. 'I see them, they really work hard, hindi 'yung, 'Ah kaya na 'yan, kaya na 'yan.' They're really doing their best and giving GMA a very good show this coming year,' she shared. The cast of 'Mga Batang Riles' had a workshop with Direk Laurice in August, which also included Sparkle stars Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, and Antonio Vinzon. At the time, the veteran actress praised the young actors for their acting abilities. In November, the cast underwent more training sessions and workshops for the series, including fight training with veteran action stars Ronnie Ricketts, Jeric Raval, and Jay Manalo. Also in November, the series released its second action-packed teaser, offering a glimpse into the lead characters' lives in Sitio Liwanag. 'Mga Batang Riles' is directed by Richard Arellano and is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
