CAMP OLA, Albay – A 28-year old mother, who was allegedly suffering from post-partum depression, killed her three daughters inside their residence in Basud town in Camarines Norte province on Wednesday morning.

Police Major Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of Police Regional Office 5 said that the suspect identified as Joan Magistrado, 28, killed her three young daughters by hacking them with a bolo. Calubaquib identified the victims as Mitzuki, 5; Zuyen, 1-year-old and 8 months; and Zoe, a four-month old baby.The victims and the suspect were immediately brought to Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital in Daet town, Camarines Norte for medical treatment, but the three girls were declared dead on-arrival by the attending physician.Investigation was still ongoing as of press time.
