If true, DepEd purchased it at an absurd amount... GIZGUIDEPH GadgetCoach TechPH
Based on a circulating Facebook post, it seems like the Department of Education purchased an overpriced Canon EOS 1500D DSLR camera.
A quick Google search showed that Henry's Cameras, an official distributor of Canon is currently selling it for just PHP 31,278.16 online. The listed SRP is PHP 33,998.00.But if true, DepEd purchased the item around 4.5x its SRP from the winning bidder, and don't tell us that it is not overpriced.
It features a 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor & DIGIC 4+ image processor, 9-point AF with 1 centre cross-type AF point, Standard ISO 100 - 6400 , and WiFi/NFC support.
