He shared a photo from the event where he received the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in 'Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita.' Trillo recently won Best Actor at the 2024 MMFF for 'Green Bones.'
Dennis Trillo threw it back to 2004, when he first won his first-ever award.On Instagram, the Kapuso Drama King shared a photo from when he won Best Supporting Actor at the Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in “ Aishite Imasu 1941 : Mahal Kita,” directed by Joel Lamangan and written by Ricky Lee.“My very first movie, my very first award,” Dennis said in his caption.“ Aishite Imasu 1941 : Mahal Kita” is a romantic war drama set during the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.
Recently, Dennis won Best Actor at the 2024 MMFF for “Green Bones.”He portrayed Domingo Zamora who is notorious for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Now that Domingo is up for parole, newly assigned prison guard takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what.Dennis donated his P100,000 cash prize to Persons Deprived of Liberty .
