The Kildare native was fighting for a world title in the early hours of Sunday morning
The Kildare native was fighting the undefeated Mexican for the WBO Super Welterweight title in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Many felt that the Irishman had done enough to at the very least have drawn with Munguia, but the judges awarded the 22-year-old the fight by majority decision.A number of fans also blasted the result, labelling it a "hometown decision". Speaking after the bout, Hogan said: "I knew I won the fight. I knew in my heart and soul. So disappointed to train as hard as I did and for this to happen.
"We came here in good faith and it's no disrespect to anybody here, but apart from the people who scored it and allowed this decision to go through, everybody knows.
