Sementara itu, Ahli Parlimen Sepanggar, Mustapha Sakmud dalam satu kenyataan menasihatkan penduduk di kawasan terbabit untuk berbincang dengan pihak JANS menerusi sesi dialog bagi menangani masalah bekalan air.
Tinjauan media di Ibu Pejabat Jabatan Air Negeri Sabah mendapati, tiada seorang pun wakil penduduk kawasan Sepanggar yang muncul untuk mengadakan demonstrasi aman berkenaan.
Poster mengenai demonstrasi di Ibu Pejabat JANS mula tular sejak semalam dan poster tersebut mengarahkan semua yang hadir untuk membawa baldi, gayung dan bahan mandian sebagai tanda protes ketiadaan air di kawasan Sepanggar. “Dalam usaha menstabilkan bekalan air di Sepanggar dan kawasan-kawasan lain di Sabah, kaedah berdialog lebih konstruktif daripada berdemonstrasi.
