Delta Air Lines will begin nonstop service between Manila and Los Angeles in March 2025, becoming the only U.S. carrier to offer this direct route. The flights will operate with the Airbus A350-900 featuring Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort+ and Main cabin classes, providing enhanced connectivity and premium amenities for transpacific travelers.

Delta Air Lines has announced the launch of a nonstop flight service between Manila, Philippines, and Los Angeles, California, set to begin in 2025. This direct route will make Delta the only U.S. carrier to offer nonstop flight s on this transpacific corridor, reconnecting a market that has not had such service since Delta suspended its Manila operations in 2021.

The new service is part of Delta's strategic expansion in the Asia Pacific region, aiming to cater to both business and leisure travelers seeking a seamless connection between the two major hubs. The flights will be operated using Delta's state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which features four distinct cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Delta Main.

This wide-body aircraft is known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, and it will provide a premium experience across all travel tiers. All passengers will benefit from complimentary in-flight amenities such as seatback entertainment and free Wi-Fi for SkyMiles members. The schedule includes three weekly flights starting March 28 from Los Angeles and March 30 from Manila, with daily service commencing on June 7, 2025.

Delta One, the airline's flagship business class, offers lie-flat seats with sliding doors for enhanced privacy, an elevated dining menu curated by prominent chefs, and personalized service. Delta Premium Select provides extra legroom, a wider seat with deeper recline, and upgraded amenities. Delta Comfort+ offers additional legroom and priority boarding, while Delta Main provides standard economy seating.

The flight times are optimized to accommodate the time difference; departures from Manila at 7:40 a.m. will arrive in Los Angeles at 6:05 a.m. the same calendar day, while return flights from Los Angeles at 11:50 p.m. will arrive in Manila at 5:30 a.m. two days later. This new nonstop service eliminates the need for connections through Tokyo or Seoul, significantly reducing travel time and convenience for passengers traveling between the Philippines and the United States
