Kota Kinabalu: More than 150 Api-Api Night Food Market hawkers participated in an operation to clean up Jalan Gaya, organised by City Hall (DBKK), from 6pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

Kota Kinabalu: More than 150 Api-Api Night Food Market hawkers participated in an operation to clean up Jalan Gaya, organised by City Hall , from 6pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

The gotong-royong activity, held for the first time, witnessed positive synergy between DBKK and the hawkers who are united in wanting to see Jalan Gaya in a clean, tidy and orderly condition.According to a DBKK statement, the operation involved cleaning up the entire street, while DBKK led the cleaning of wild plants on buildings, trees and electrical wiring maintenance and repair of damaged road signs.

Also present were Licensing Department Director Rozie Khan A. Halik and Transport and Traffic Department Director Hana’aifah A.
