Retail fuel prices in the Davao Region remained largely steady from June 30 to July 6, 2026, following a major price reduction in the previous week. The Department of Energy's latest monitoring shows minimal adjustments across gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, providing continued relief to motorists and transport-dependent sectors after one of the biggest rollbacks of the year driven by falling global crude oil prices.
Retail fuel prices across the Davao Region held steady during the monitoring period from June 30 to July 6, 2026, showing only minimal changes after a substantial rollback in the previous week that delivered significant relief to motorists and transport operators.
According to the latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE)-Mindanao Field Office, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices have largely stabilized following the sharp reductions that began on June 23. In Davao City, the average price for premium gasoline (RON 95) was recorded at 75.12 Philippine pesos per liter, while regular gasoline (RON 91) stood at 73.87 pesos per liter.
Diesel averaged 69.52 pesos per liter, Diesel Plus was priced at 73.87 pesos per liter, and kerosene reached 91.85 pesos per liter. In other cities, Digos City reported average prices of 72.59 pesos for premium gasoline, 72.02 pesos for regular gasoline, 70.06 pesos for diesel, 74.50 pesos for Diesel Plus, and 99.25 pesos for kerosene. The Island Garden City of Samal listed average prices of 74.70 pesos for premium gasoline, 74.20 pesos for regular gasoline, and 71.88 pesos for diesel.
Mati City posted the region's highest average price for premium gasoline at 76.53 pesos per liter, while Panabo City averaged 73.38 pesos for premium gasoline and 69.48 pesos for diesel. Tagum City recorded prices of 76.09 pesos per liter for premium gasoline, 74.24 pesos for regular gasoline, and 71.11 pesos for diesel.
Compared to the previous monitoring period from June 23 to 29, adjustments were minor: in Davao City, premium gasoline decreased from 75.59 to 75.12 pesos per liter, regular gasoline slipped from 74.49 to 73.87 pesos, diesel eased from 69.84 to 69.52 pesos, and Diesel Plus dropped from 74.39 to 73.87 pesos. Similar small variations were observed across Digos, Panabo, Mati, Samal, and Tagum, signalling that fuel prices have largely settled after the prior week's major rollback.
The current price stability follows one of the largest fuel price cuts of the year announced by the DOE for the June 23-29 trading week. The agency projected rollbacks of 3.90 to 5.90 pesos per liter for gasoline, 9.04 to 11.04 pesos per liter for diesel, and 9.82 to 11.82 pesos per liter for kerosene, primarily due to declining global crude oil prices after a period of market volatility.
These reductions offered crucial financial relief not only to private motorists but also to public utility vehicle operators, logistics firms, farmers, fisherfolk, and numerous other sectors that rely heavily on fuel. The DOE-Mindanao Field Office emphasized that its weekly retail pump price monitoring covers fuel stations throughout Mindanao, but actual consumer prices may vary among retailers because of differences in procurement costs, transportation expenses, operating overhead, and local competition.
