Ingrid Lindblad of Sweden, No. 1 in the world amateur ranking who came back for a fifth year at LSU for moments like this, had a chance to join Darling until missing a 5-foot birdie putt on the par-5 18th. Darling started her second nine with three straight birdies, including a 30-footer, followed with a pair of bogeys that slowed her momentum and bounced back with three birdies over the last four holes.“I think the biggest thing for us is just staying in the moment and staying in the process,” Darling said. “I don’t like thinking about what’s happened before.
