KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 — In another new chapter of friendship between former foes-turned-allies DAP and Umno, DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng and the Balik Pulau Umno division recently met in Penang to break fast during the Muslim fasting month.
After the joint distribution of porridge, he said they had then travelled in a convoy together to a local stall to break fast together. “Thank you to Datuk Shah Headan Ayoob Shah as the division chief and all of the Balik Pulau Umno family who received our visit with very special treatment,” the Bagan MP wrote in his Facebook post.
In photographs attached to Lim’s Facebook post, he was seen eating with his hands while breaking fast together at the event, while individuals were also seen trying to capture group selfies with Lim and the Balik Pulau Umno chief Shah Headan.
