The state DAP says the undersea tunnel was awarded through an open tender and the MACC had also confirmed that there was no wrongdoing.
“Furthermore, after further investigations, in November 2018, MACC released a letter to the company involved, Zenith Construction , to confirm that no abuse of power or corrupt practices took place. It had written to the chief minister last year clearing the proponents of the project of any wrongdoing.
The party also said a defamation suit against Raja Petra regarding the matter was won by its secretary-general Lim Guan Eng in February.
