The former captain and franchise icon says this year\u0027s team is able to turn things around after a slow start.
“I don’t know if they’re fragile, but you do a lot of good things and then things don’t go your way, well, of course, that’s going to hurt your confidence,” Alfredsson said Friday. “That’s when they’ve got to figure out that they’ve got to trust in the process and believe in it. Don’t try to force things.
“The pressure mounts up quickly when you’re expected to fight for a playoff spot. I still think there’s a decent chance to get back into the race with the way they’re playing.”
