It was anything but a formal gala but last weekend’s Down East Kitchen Party at the National Air Force Museum of Canada was a huge success.
People wearing slickers and rubber boots, jeans and plaid danced and ate and ended up raising a lot of money for two worthy causes. Kitchen Party organizer Lorraine O’Quinn says over $111,000. was raised, to be split between Wounded Warriors Canada and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
