AFL master coach Damien Hardwick has a special wish for his former charge Dustin Martin, while also backing a push to have the Richmond superstar immortalised in bronze. Martin — perhaps the greatest big-game player of all time — will be celebrated at the MCG on Saturday when he walks out for his 300th match.

The popular superstar will become one of Richmond’s magnificent seven to achieve the milestone, and six of them got together at a low-key gathering during the week for a photoshoot. But at 4.35pm AEST at the MCG on Saturday, the low-key stuff will be over and the reclusive Dusty will face the roar of the crowd when the Tigers take on a red-hot Hawthorn.
