Crowell, the two-time AUS female swimmer of the year, is seeded second in her specialty race, the 800-metre freestyle. Last year, Crowell won the silver medal in the 800 at the U Sports championship at Laval University.The Dal women are also medal threats in the 400 free with McCloy ranked fourth and Crowell fifth.Both Crowell and McCloy each captured four races as the recent AUS championships in St. John's N.L., to help the Tigers win their 21st consecutive women's team title.
Also competing for Acadia are AUS male swimmer of the year Gordon Shortt, Dean Sangster, Bo Stokesbury-Price, AUS female rookie of the year Sophie Rooney, Ella Collins, Grace Earle and Elisabeth Morrison.
