4/20 has grown to include both farmer’s market where vendors sell cannabis products, along with illicit drugs, and an entertainment stage

As many as 100,000 people are expected to roll into Sunset Beach today to take part in the 25th annual Vancouver 4/20 event.

On Friday, Vancouver Coun. Sarah Kirby-Yung released a letter from a group of event organizers, including those from Vancouver Pride Festival, SKOOKUM music festival and the Italian Day Festival Society, that questions why the 4/20 event has been allowed to proceed without a permit and without paying police costs.
