THUNDER BAY — A professional wrestling show scheduled for Friday night has been postponed after the crew's truck was involved in a highway collision.

Canadian Wrestling Elite owner Danny Warren said the truck and trailer carrying the ring went off the highway Friday morning, which has prevented them from arriving in the city as expected. Warren said team member EZ Ryder was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, but is in good spirits and awaiting test results.

Warren said the promotion has been able to procure another ring and truck to transport it, but has run into highway closures that have delayed their arrival to Thunder Bay. The Thunder Bay show has instead been rescheduled for Saturday. Other shows in Sault Ste. Marie and Elliot Lake have also been rescheduled.
