Christina Black’s Dartmouth Curling Club rink is off to a 3-0 start at the Nova Scotia Scotties curling championship at New Glasgow's Bluenose Curling Club. MICHAEL BURNS • CURLING CANADA - ContributedChristina Black and Owen Purcell are the only remaining unbeaten teams at the Nova Scotia Scotties and Tankard curling championships in New Glasgow on Friday.
Purcell's Halifax Curling Club rink handed clubmate Paul Flemming a 5-4 setback for his third straight victory. Flemming suffered his first loss in four games. Purcell and second Adam McEachren have carried their high calibre of play into the Tankard after a bronze medal win last Friday at the World University Games.
