The scandalous, twisted and unapologetically sexy film, Cruel Intentions, was a sensation when it premiered in 1999.
The recently unveiled official trailer beckons fans back into a realm of "desire and deception", heralding a "new chapter" for the timeless tale, reports the Mirror. The synopsis continues: "After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Greek Life system, they'll do whatever is necessary to preserve their power and reputation even if that means seducing Annie Grover, the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.
One fan reflected: "It just looks like Gossip Girl. Loved the original, for 90s kids it was truly an experience, maybe today's teens will ne blown away by this."
