'Our family is now mourning and searching for answers,' says Kristy Delavalle, who is organizing the GoFundMe
A GoFundMe crowdfunding page has been set up by a member of the family of 22-year-old Taylor Marshall. The young woman was found deceased Thursday in a John Street apartment and her death has been deemed a homicide.
"Our family is now mourning and searching for answers," said organizer Kristy Delavalle in the write-up for the page. She said the $15,000 goal for the crowdfunding effort is intended to take pressure off Marshall's parents and allow them time to grieve."We have decided to create this page as a way to subsidize costs and allow peace of mind for her family while they try to navigate this tragedy," said Delavalle.
"Taylor was loved by all, her smile was contagious and her personality always shined through in her acts of kindness towards her family and those she loved," she added. "Taylor was incredibly outgoing and had an amazing sense of humour." Delavalle asks anyone who may have any information, big or small, to report it to the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
