Covid infection in education cluster under control

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek says the recent drastic increase in Covid-19 cases involving the education cluster is under control due to effective interventive measures taken by her ministry. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 7, 2023.

Fadhlina said the measures implemented by the ministry included isolation, reminding teachers and students of the drastic increase in Covid-19 cases, and urging parents to monitor the health of their children before sending them to school. “We accept the advice from MOH from time to time. The MOH and MOE will continuously monitor the situation. We are taking the matter very seriously and carrying out research to find out why the cases have increased drastically. We are looking at ways to stop Covid-19 from spreading.
