COVID19 tally in Eastern Visayas rises to 19
The number of COVID-19 cases in Eastern Visayas climbed to 19, the Department of Health Region 8 said Friday.The patients will be transferred to the Tarangnan Community Hospital for medical assessment and isolation.
The town mayor urged his constituents to follow health protocols and stay at home to curb the spread of the virus. Some 21 town police personnel were isolated after 6 of them were tagged as “probable” COVID-19 cases. They will be replaced by a new troop.
