KOTA KINABALU: The number of new Covid-19 cases in Sabah has dipped 2,000 for the first time in nearly a month.
State Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said Sabah recorded 1,778 positive cases on Saturday ."Overall, there are signs of stabilisation in the number of daily cases in the state," he said in his daily briefing on Saturday.
However, Masidi said that the backlog had largely been cleared up, with only 71 of the 511 new cases delayed for more than five days. A total of 21 districts recorded new cases in double digits and three districts with single-digit cases.
