The number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Nueva Ecija rose to 52 after four more patients tested positive over the weekend, according to the provincial inter-agency task force. | AMGalangINQ
Patient 50, a 30-year-old man, of Pulong Buli village in Santo Domingo town, is a fireman who worked at the National Capital Region, while Patient 51 is a 34-year-old woman from Manggang Marikit village in Guimba town who was repatriated from UAE on April 24.
Fr. Arnold Abelardo, spokesperson of the NEIATF, clarified that all four were recorded as Nueva Ecija patients only because of their address. They are now undergoing treatment outside Nueva Ecija. The NEIATF also reported on Sunday that a 75-year-old-woman from Aliaga town who tested positive was discharged from the ELJ Hospital here and placed under strict home quarantine.
