LUCENA CITY –– Five new coronavirus disease patients have been reported in Quezon, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 160, authorities reported on Tuesday.
In its 8 a.m. bulletin, the Quezon public information office , quoting the latest data from the Integrated Provincial Health Office , disclosed that three of the patients were from Lucena City and one each from the towns of Atimonan and Macalelon.The three latest patients are the only active virus carriers in the city.
Atimonan has two recorded cases, but one of them has recovered. The COVID-19 case in Macalelon is the first in the locality in the Bondoc Peninsula district.
