“Under the current situation, is not going to happen,” Gower said. “But there is no option to do nothing. We need rapid transit to Stittsville and Kanata. The west end is poorly served compared to other parts of the city.” In the meantime, though, Curry says OC Transpo must improve bus access to and from the ever-growing North Kanata Research Park — a sprawling high-tech park and community of its own off March Road and Herzberg Road, housing 540 companies.
Similarly, Barrhaven East Coun. Lo says OC Transpo and the city should be thinking smaller-scale, improving local bus service immediately.
