“These recommendations were considered at the finance and municipal services committee on Feb. 1, 2023, and at the committee of council meeting on Feb. 15, 2023.” Cornwall council voted at its regular monthly meeting on Feb. 22 to renew its $10,000 commitment to Pat and the Elephant, which provides wheelchair-accessible transportation to Islanders.
“The Town of Cornwall is an inclusive, prosperous, active, environmentally sustainable and safe town, in which residents are proud to reside, conduct business and enjoy life,” the resolution said.
