In Saskatchewan, support remains strong among all age levels for Premier Scott Moe and the current governing Saskatchewan Party. The recent poll from the Angus Reid Institute, however, shows Manitobans are not looking too favourably on Premier Heather Stefanson and her Progressive Conservative government.
In Manitoba, 40 per cent of those polled said they intend to vote for the Tories in the October 2023 election. Support for the Manitoba NDP was nearly even, as 38 per cent say they would vote for the current Opposition party — well within the poll’s margin of error.In Saskatchewan, 68 per cent say the rising cost of living is one of their top issues, well above health care , the economy and jobs , the province’s $1.47 billion deficit and energy .
